Romance or Companionship?

Romance is great on paper; fairytale/ movie, etc but realistically, how many of us actually DO put effort into making it happen?!
Romance are for the die-hard idealists who daydream their Prince Charming will come to their rescue which is fine, I'm sure.
In reality and I'm being practical here companionship wins out at the end of the day.
It's nice to be wined & dined - to be thought of... but enjoying the company of someone special for me just tops that and so much more.

Those are the only choices, I'd take the companionship. Romance can exist without companionship- temporarily but companionship has everlasting romantic potential.

Romance.
My poor hubby just doesn't have the romantic gene.
I have to make a point to realize that when he brings me flowers home from the gas station, it's him being romantic. It's cute, but a surprise weekend away together, it's not!!
I know, some women don't even get that gas station roses!!
I love him regardless!!
