If you are talking Classical Mythos I would have to say Hercules...the idea of being able to do impossible things was the start of the whole "super hero" idea.
Narcissus - the term "narcissic" for a person who is all wrapped up in themselves is still in use today

Nike - that minor goddess of victory has become an icon of sports success

Most Greek & Roman mythology pervades our language/beliefs.

For Example: Bacchas was the God of wine/partying. Debauchery is derived from that name.
