From my knowledge, and what I've seen from other posts on Yahoo, I don't think PS3 is worth your time. If you are looking for serious game play with great online experience, go for 360. Xbox live is only about $6 a month. I have a 360 in it's great! Plus $200 cheaper than PS3. Now, if you want more of a laid back, fun gaming experience for the whole family, go with the Wii. It's a great price: $250. The controllers are motion sensor which triples the fun. If you are considering the PS3, I would just chip in $50 and get the 360 and Wii.

I have a wii and it's pretty awesome and I'm not hating on other consoles, but xbox I really think that gears of war is saving the console, some of the ps3 overheats (isn't that amazing? same as xbox 360 last year), and ps3 doesn't have really good launch games. PS3 is easier to get now, but ps3 wasn't something to shoot over and sony is eventually failing being one of the leaders as game console developers. I personally think nintendo is rules and the results are showing(nintendo ds was top console in UK, sold out on wii across all around the globe, and etc..) Hey I really like to get a ps3, but $600 kind of got me. Hope it helped :)

If you want a system right now get a 360, it's been out for a year and now has a few 'most owns' that the other consoles don't have yet. If you don't mind waiting for games to arrive on the other systems i'd recommend the Wii. Cheap, unique, innovative - a must own if you prefer playing games to looking at them.
PS3's price tag really doesn't justify what the system is offering you right now.

That's tricky. Depends on a few things. Like how much u want to spend and what u want to use it for. XBox is for serious gamers, PS3 is more family orientated and Wii sees to combine the 2. Good luck.

Get a PS3
the games and the graphics are the best...the wii has already showed signs of hurting peoples hands, and the games are limited.
The xbox360 is getting old, and it isn't worth the money.

Well, it depends on what genre of games you like. if you're a big fan of final fantasy and other PS only games, you'll probably stick with the PS. if you like gamecube games, such as the legend of zelda, i'd highly recommend it...i personally don't like the xbox 360. um...i'd recommend the wii. great graphics, a remote-thingy, and cheaper price than the PS3.

360 is definitely the way to go! Wii controllers aren't as promising as marketing has depicted. PS3 is overpriced, and you get better features with the 360, including more suppliers of games
