Be passionate. Have passion for what you do, think and feel. That is what makes you you. If you take life seriously, the that is you also. Everyone is different. Everyone takes different things seriously. I am SURE you have things that you do not take serious as someone else may. For ME, I WISH I would have taken somethings MORE serious then i did when I was young, and other things a lot LESS serious. As I age, I am taking things more serious then I ever did, and other things a lot less serious. When someone says "don't take life so seriously," What they are REALLY saying is: about themselves.... NOT you! They are speaking about something THEY do not take as serious as you do, and that you should lighten up because you have failed to SEE THEIR point of view. There are SOME things that just should not be taken too serious because in a year from now, it really wouldn't matter HOW anyone takes it, serious or not. Things have a way of working out themselves with or without our help, and putting too much time or effort into them, isn't going to matter one way or another. PICK YOUR BATTLES!

An unbroken stride is a walk that doesn't stop, that flows smoothly from one step to the other. It means not stumbling, falling, or stopping - just taking things as they come and always steadily pressing on.

Striding is a form of walking generally straight ahead. Nothing can or will interupt or affect the flow and usually done in a slight carefree way.

The same as the song
Row Row Row Your boat
gently down the stream,
merrily, merrily merrily, merrily
life is but a dream.

that is to sat.
go with the flow
do not try to row your boat up the stream againts the current.
very difficult to do.

It means you roll with the punches. Life is definitely going to through you both high and lows and we all need to learn to deal with both types of situations, and everything that falls in between.
