Ya know, I totally get what you're going through. This year my marriage broke up, my grandfather died, my father went deaf and I just broke my toe. Christmas isn't something I was looking forward to. But I decided anyway to get out my Christmas ornaments and put decorate a bit because I thought my kitten would like it. And guess what, with my tree twinkling away in the corner and the Christmas nativity my mother gave me sitting on a shelf, I definitely feel better. So I say throw up a few decorations, have a glass of eggnog (with a hint of rum in it) and congratulate yourself for getting through another year, because there are always people worse off.

Remember what "Christ mas" stands for. For me, it is so special giving to people . Especially for the people that have less than me. We celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. Make a batch of cookies and share them at work. Do something ever so nice for your Mom and Dad. Hang that mistletoe and jingle bells and listen to some good ole Christmas Music. Think of all the good foods and the smells. Go out at midnight and look at the stars. I can think of a million things. Hope this helps some. God Bless you always. And most of all "MERRY CHRIST MAS" .

I don't know, I'm having a hard time this year, probably because last year a week before Christmas my mother-in-law had double by pass surgery, and it's just hard to think we could have lost her.

Sometimes it's hard, but there's an old saying, "It is in giving that we receive." Give other people happiness and you'll find yourself getting more back.

Think of a little child's face when they get what they always wanted. Remember the One who gave you life. God Bless you.
