ok you know when you are in a school library they only let you print in black and white? how do they do that because i wanna print some photos but dont wanna waste colour ink i wanna print it in black and white any help?? oh and using paint is a sob so dont mention it

use photoshop and make your picture black and white, then print.

Try getting only a black and white printer! That is guarenteed to help, especially if you get a high quality one. Also, if your printing photos from your camera, you may be able to edit them and put them in black and white right on your computer!
It is also probably a really good idea to go ask someone about it at a technology store. I reccommend CompUSA because the people who work there usually know what they're doing wheras at best buy, they're just the ones unloading stock. However, Best Buy also has a huge inventory and you can find alot there so then again, it may be a safe bet that you can get information there!
Also, what kind of camera do you have? Try calling that company! I guarentee that they probably have printers also!

Um...if they are anything like my school, they only have black ink. Better off to go to a copy shop/store and get them printed out there. It usually only costs like 10 or 15 cents a page. Not much.

ok well when u click on print it will say print prefrences on that thing that pops up.. click that and then click on black and white.. the prints come out kinds weird.. so if that doesnt work.. if u have Adobe Photoshop.. you can make it black and white by clicking image then click adjustments and then click desaturate.. and save.. then u can print it =]

the schools do this to save money, if they all start putting color ink in the printers, then students will print out pics in color, and you know what that leads to now don't you.

its black ink from a different kind of printer, for a color ink printer you have to go to printing options

Select "Preferences" on your printer box, then select color, click on "print in greyscale". This will print your pics in black and white...real easy.

Well, do you have like a Kinkos and ask them if they can print in black and white. It is better. IN my advice. I always go there.

when you print something in color you can go to properties when the print icon comes up, click draft, then OK, an print.

print
prefrences
click the "printing shortcuts" tab
the click the arrow down
go to Fast/economical printing
go to graayscale and click the arrow down to
black only
and click ok
then your done!!!
