Why Is It So Hard To Be Honest And Loyal. Then It To Lie? Is Doing The Right Thing Always Right?

I heard a quote literally 2 seconds ago....do the right thing is never wrong, basically saying that doing the right thing is right. Though it may be wrong to other people because they have different minds....but still right.

It's hard to be honest and truthful sometimes because the truth tends to be a little brutal to some people. When people tell the truth, some of them fear that they might be hurting someone's feeling by doing so. That is what causes them to lie.

i know how you feel ive had probelms lying but i finally figured out that i just mess things up more dont get me wrong i still lie unfortunately but not as much (im an actress so that should tell you how easy lying is for me)

as for loyal: in the long run youll find that being loyal was the right thing to do youll have more friends and people will admire you for being so truthful and loyal sometimes it isnt always that easy though...like when ur bff is wearing a hidious outfit and she says she just spent $80 on it and she loves it so much youll want to tell her she looks great but trust me shed rather you tell her that its ugly than her enemy or the popular kids

It is harder to be honest and loyal than lying sometimes. I think that the reason for this is risk vs. reward. If you tell the truth than you can get in trouble. If you lie and are not caught then you don't get in trouble. If you are caught lying then the punishment is normally not much more severe than if you told the truth in the first place. Doing the 'right thing' is way over rated. Do what you think will bring you the most happieness. If you will be eaten up with guilt, then come clean, if not, ...

I know its so hard to stay honest and not lie, but once you start lieing it wont stop. If you stay true to yourself you will feel better about yourself. one day it would catch up with you and you will have a tone of guilt on you conscience. You cant always do the right thing but always learn from your choices....

Doing the right thing is always right. People learn they can trust you when you are truthful. When you lie, then people learn that you're a liar. Stay honest. It won't promise you a perfectly happy life, but you will feel good about yourself.

Truth hurts. and sometimes, you lie to prevent hurting people you care about. if you tell someone the truth, they might end up getting hurt. there's a safe way of trying to do it, you tell them that you love 'em or that you're just watching out for 'em, and then you try to say it in the nicest way you can.

As for doing the right thing being always right, it depends on what you think is right. is it what people in general think is right or is it what you think is right (based on how you were brought up)?

doing the right thing is right if it keeps people from getting hurt (this is my opinion). i've done things that i believed was the right thing to do even if it means i would get hurt in return just because i don't want it on my conscience.

sometimes, i do give in to my own needs and not do the right thing, but like i said before, it's up to you. weight it out, follow your heart but let your mind guide you through the road to get there.

people want people to be honest and loyal but when they are they get taken advantage of and offend/hurt people b/c of their honesty. i know cause its happened to me before. when you lie no one gets hurt. i choose to be myself whether you like it or not. i am honest so if you are too sensitive then don't ask me questions or for my opinion. If i am loyal to you and haven't gotten that back, then i will stop being loyal to you.
