Tap on the end of your toe. Does it feel like pain "shoots" up your foot? When you you move the end of your toe, do you feel any grating or is there any false joint motion? If you answer yes to any of these questions, it may be fractured. No big deal. Ice and anti-inflammatories. Protect as much as possible and wait for it to feel better. Don't waste your money on an office visit, but it's your money. If you wish to have a proper diagnosis, go right ahead. It will all work out the same.

Even if it is broken, they wouldn't do much for you at the doctors anyway, so there's no point in going. (Only thing would be if the skin is broken from the break and there's a risk of infection.) It's hard to tell if a toe is broken - it used to be that if you couldn't move it, it was broken, but I've heard that is wrong. It really doesn't matter if it's broken or not, just elevate your foot, use an ice pack to reduce swelling, and keep your weight off of it.

You can splint it by taping it to an adjacent toe, that will help support it and lessen the pain a bit. But go to the doctor anyway, he/she will tell you for certain if you can't have an X-Ray of your foot because of your pregnancy. I'm thinking that with modern X-Ray equipment and lead aprons that there is very little chance of exposing your baby to any harmful amount of radiation.

If you did or didnt nothing you can do about it. Ive broken many toes and the Dr wont do anything for you. Just ice it and try not to put to much pressure on it. It will heal if it is. Might take a month or more. My pinky toe took 5 months to finally stop hurting.

Even if it is broken, there's nothing they can do with it. They can't do much for a broken toe, they tell you to stay off of it, and that's about it. It isn't worth going for, unless it still hurts after a week or so. Then they may just tell you to use crutches for a few days. Other than that there's nothing to realy do about a broken toe.

it sounds broken. use medical tape and tape it to the toe next to it. they wouldn't x-ray a toe anyway. try to keep it as straight as possible, and use ice on it. 15-20 min. on, 15-20 min. off.
