Pohutukawa tree, the New Zealand “Christmas tree”, along the beach of Paihai. These native trees bloom around Christmas time and are found all over the North Island. They had not yet reached their peak but you can image what this might look like when they are in full bloom and along the entire coastline. Please decorate one for me..Would love to actually decorate a Chistmas tree in a bathing suit. And you could always make a "sand angel." Happy and Beautiful Christmas..I am envious...it is sleeting here right now....

Oh no! I wouldn't dream of coming along. I like being cold, rained on and blown sideways by the wind.
Of course, I like being tossed out of moving automobiles on a busy M, being thrashed to an inch of my life in pub fights, and wish I had been caned daily when I was a kid!
LOL Have a happy and warm Christmas, Mate!

If Christmas was meant to be celebrated in sunshine Father Christmas would be shown in bathers, not wellies and a fur coat. Them down under never get anything right, you only have to taste their beer.
