but I do know that the "gel wrap" that you can have put on after they are painted creates a "shell," so to speak, and you can't even remove it with nail polish remover. They have to take it off for you. It helps keep your nail polish on for a long time, though!

Regardless of the difference, my advice is don't do it!!!

Fake nails are so bad for your nail bed - they make your real nails weak and ugly.

Just get a pretty manicure, and since you're saving money, you can get a manicure more often. Every other week you can just get a polish change.

Be sure to take your own nail polish because the manicure will last longer.
