It is as long as you know your sources and processes well, otherwise, it can get daunting. But it's manageable:
1. Know where your organic greengrocer is
2. Know your recipes and what to pack as a snack
3. Have a bicycle or bus pass at the ready
4. Be educated about your product choices in general
5. Get your basics right - like, if you're going to be vegetarian, learn to be it without ruining your health, etc.

im assuming that you mean being inexperienced. my answer is no. it takes great courage and the ability to accept non-acceptance.
