Everyone I know ends up hurting my in some way or other. Is there a such thing as a nice guy whos only interested in being friends, or are all guys just too horny for that?

Unfortunately, it has been my experience that all men are horney. What happens is when you become friends the relationship between man and women naturally leads to sexual intimacy. Some people can't accept that that next step won't happen. I'm sure some men out there can (and women) Most nice guys out there if they are single are looking for a relationship and if they are with someone they are spending all their time with their girlfriend. It is rare to find a good friend that is a man with no strings attached. I think men think, "Well if I'm not getting any why put forth the effort" but they aren't gettin any from their guy friends so i don't see what the difference is. I have a few guy friends but they were my husbands friends first and they respect me and my husband and they are like girlfriends to me:))) Maybe someone out there has a different perspective but my experience is more like what you described.

I'm female and have a male best friend. He has never said anything out of the way to me. We love and care about each other, but just as friends. We're there for each other. From my own personal experience, it is hard to find guys like this.

u know what ur right, guys usually are like that. They don't care about how nice you are or what kind of personality u have. They only care about one thing. But u can't give up because best friends do exist and some guys really are really nice and just want to be friends you just have to put a good effort in and find one of the best! good luck!

Yes, they are out there somewhere in the world. Just remember that God determines who walks into ur life. It's up to you to decide who you let walk over you, who u let stay or you let go. The choice is your's, but chose your best friend wisely. Some times they are right in front of your face and you not know it.

I don't want you to fill bad. in the imagination the do. yes the do exist. but in the real world well no. no one not even you can ever find a real friend. A best friend.
All the time, every were people just come to you because the want something from you. Are you rich? if you are or if anyone is people just come to them to get money. Popular? They just want to be with you so one day they could be popular. Smart? They just want you to do there homework for them for free. they just want to cheat from your test and they don't want you to tell anyone because you and him/her are "best friends".
In my worldd best friends don't exist. not in the real worl, only in mu imagination!

When I read your question it makes me feel proud to have my best friend.
He's a guy and we're ok. Sure we fight on stuff like shopping, soccer and girlfriends and boyfriends. But we're still best friends. And i'm not that rough, I like girly things too. And he LOVES Soccer like it was his life.
But when you have a guy best friend, feelings wont stop coming. Its natural and we've talked about it alot. You gotta understand your limits and your feelings. We thought we both had a crush on each other, when really it was just natural instinct becuz we were so close.
I give him space with his girlfriend and he gives me space with mine boyfriend. We have our own friends too. But we still do small things like projects together to stay close.
The key is communication and understandment. You want a guy to be your friend act just like a friend...

sure they do. it's hard to find them though. i have lots of friends and they're the best. but, they have hurt my feelings here and there. that's humans for ya. we aren't perfect and if that's what you're looking for... you will be alone all of your life. pick your friends wisely and learn how they are. find out if their faults are worth remaining friends with them. you have to learn to forgive....i can't forget.......remembering what they did to hurt you will enable you to know just how far you can trust them. if you forget..it'll just happen again. good luck and try not to be too hard on your friends none of us are perfect. all we can do is try our best to be.

They are out there, just hard to find...Keep looking though, you'll find one! Maybe try to find a gay guy, they are the BEST guy friends, they are like girlfriends (but sometimes better) and they will never want sex from you!

your probably trying to hard and endig up with the wrong guys. so you want a guy to be your best friend?? i dunno if you can get that , unless he is gay or unless its a guy you see as like a brother. try have girls to be best friend becuase you can relate more to a girl and talk and she will listen. guys can be friends but i dont think you can get that close with out him getting the wrong idea
