Ask a friend who knows this friend who knows this friend who knows him. At that point, information is unreliable so its best to ask him yourself. Just don't make it anymore public than you and your crush.

You can usually tell by a person's body language and the way they talk to you if they're attracted to you. Do some subtle flirting and see how he responds. The look in his eyes and the way he smiles will give you cues.

well the way to know is to let him know you like him that way and if he dont then you will know, start by asking him to do some thing you boht enjoy just the 2 of you and see what happends from there

are you afraid he doesnt like you or that he isnt gay?
either way if he is a good nuff person and friend he will be fine if you just ask. if he says no and then stil hangs with you then atleast you have a cool friend.
