For GBA theres four Final Fantasy games:

Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls
Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance
Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy V

The Dawn of Souls is the first two Final Fantasy games in one, they're both really good if you like old-school RPG games.

Tactics Advance-its a stragety RPG. Its pretty good.

Final Fantasy IV-Another outstanding game by Square-Enix...aka the suicide FF. (no spoilers)

Final Fantasy V-A really great game that focuses on jobs and classes.

According to gamespot.com:

Final Fantasy V: 8.5
Final Fantasy VI: 8.3
Final Fantasy II& II : 7.2


However, in my opinion, I truly enjoyed Final Fantasy VI. I haven't finished playing V, but so far, I still love VI.

I didn't like I&II, however.

Bottom Line: I'd go with VI.
