Take it to a trusted jeweler, NOT one in the mall either! They are truly nothing but scammers! Ask them to use a diamond tester to see if its real. IF it is I suggest running a ad for it, I am sure that some sad girl is really bummed about it!!

Easy, you can go to any reputable jewler, like a jewelry store in the mall and they will test it for you, they have a small device that they use to tell you if it is a diamond or not, it was free when I had it done.

March over to a reputable privately owned jewelery store one that is GSA or IGA certified they can use a diamond tester to see if it's diamond or moissanite or something else.

Put it in a clear glass of water. If the stone disappears, it's real. Good luck.
