Well, when I went off the pill, it took my body 6 cycles to regulate itself, and then another 3 for me to get pregnant (and that was after being on it only the 18 months from when my first was born till we decided to have another).
If you and your partner are ready now, then yes, stop the pill... if you and your partner aren't ready but think you will be soon, you can stop the pill and use condoms. If you think you still have a ways to go, I wouldn't stop till you're ready to have a baby. Accidents happen.

The pill shouldn't effect fertility long term. I was on it for 10 years and got pregnant (at 25) within a couple of months going off of it.

if u have been on the pill that long it may take up to a year to have a baby then it may not it may take longer i just know that my sister was on the pill for 2yrs then got off of them to have her 2nd child and it took her about a year

it really all depends on your body my sister was on the shot a couple of years and it took her like five years for her to get straitened out and she still cant get pregnant but like i said it depends on your body

yes..but still practice safe sex until u r ready. you are only stopping to see how your body will react and if your periods will start on there own.
