As anyone here ever regretted not following their heart?

I honestly can't think of a time when I didn't. If there's one true thing, it's your heart. & I've never regretted it. (Of course I don't mean "foolishly" or "wantonly!") Your heart feels, & intuites. Your little grey cells can over-intellectualize you out of something quite wonderful. I don't buy this, but have heard it often: "All good things come to an end." Not ALL good things, as I recall a couple of answers indicated they were happy they followed their heart. But even if they do end, what a joy to experience!

Somewhat. It isn't a regret of not following my heart, it is wonder of what "might have been" had I chosen differently(and I don't mean my sexuality.)
Ah well. Water under the bridge. They say things are never as sweet as we imagine they could be, that's why I don't dwell on what might have been.

Yes, my heart told me to leave my husband three years after I married him. I didn't, instead I hung on for another 12 years, and had a set of twin daughters, waiting for him to pay attention to me and not his booze and his friends. My heart was right, I should have listened to it. However, the daughters make up for it, and he is long gone.

yes, and now i will spend the rest of my life wondering "what if?"

Yes! Many times and regret each time I ignored it.
We are supposed to live and learn but sometimes we all forget that.

Yep Yep. Well i have regretted not listening to my heart. One of my best friends i no longer talk to told me he liked me... i didn't want to be with him.. now i look back he would have made me so happy, we dont talk anymore, n i miss him!

ive regretted following that stupid thing. it just pitter patters all over the place with no reason. trust me...follow the eyes. they never lie.

Yes...
I really liked this person. He asked me if I liked him at all because someone had told him I did. I told him "NO" in big bold print. I will never know if he liked me or likes me now..
