I would save the one I love, my girlfriend.
When you are a partner and love someone you are supposed to be there for them and protect them. The ex is an ex for a reason.
If time permits, I may swim back to attempt to save the ex.

I would save my girlfriend,because my ex is an ex for a reason!If my ex drowned than I would'nt have to go through the struggle of child custody.
