How long does it usually take to get the results back? If the doctor's office has a lab on site is it possible to get an answer back that same visit? Just curious cause i go in tomorrow for blood pregnancy test.....thank!

Yes the place i go to has a lab there and it only takes about an hour after they poke you to get the results back..they usually let me leave and i just call back within an hour and they tell me...lol goodluck to you!!!

Yes it is possible to get an answer that same visit if the lab is in the office. If not it can take up to 48 hrs to get the results and sometimes longer like a week. 9 times out of 10 you will get the results back the same day.

The test itself doesn't take that long. What takes time is getting the sample to and from the testing lab and then the doctor reporting the results to you. Ask your doctor when you can expect the results. Waiting is form of torture, and the doctor should understand.

I tested at planned parenthood in florida and they told me 3-5 days!

mine took five to 10min...i peed in a cup and went back to the dr. office and the nurse came in and told me CONGRATULATIONS!
