We are all human beings, if someone finds another person of another race or culture attractive and interesting enough to date. I say go for it. If God wanted all of us to date and marry those that looked the same. He would not have made the world so diverse. And there was a law against it, it was abolished many years ago. It was a bad idea to have such a law then and it really would not fly these days. I say live and let live, who cares as long as their is hatred their will be war. God bless****

Why should any law ban one human being dating or marrying another human being. Color admitted can be a form of predjudice to some but that being so we are all one race and as both partners are happy in their relationship it is no-one elses decision to make for them.
If you start at banning black-white relationships then what comes next? Im English and my wife American would that too become a problem? Maybe only dating people from the same age group etc etc.
One thing on my many journeys around the world I found out... Color really is only skin deep and its only a few that have problems with other race, colors, creed or religions.

Why should there be a color or race issue? We are all created equal in God's eyes. I'm white 3rd generation Italian. I have been mistaken for many other races, and have very curly hair. Do your history, and there is a lot of inter breeding. Don't worry about the outside, but rather what's in side of a person. How they treat and respect you. That will get you a lot further in life. Don't worry about what everybody thinks. Good Luck!

I have and always will interracially date. Variety is the spice of life. People should be allowed to love anyone they want regardless of law. I noticed someone answering before me made a great point about white guys not wanted to date black girls.....guys you should try it at least once!!!

Don't have a problem with this. If they had a law to band relationship between black and white then there would have to be a law banding relationships between other races

It will lead to a split in the family. I have a friend who's father would not tollerate it. I would not date outside my own race because it would cause turmoil in both of our families. Since, I'm sure it causes turmoil in other families. I don't dislike any other racial groups or ethnic groups for how they look or their languge differences etc. But, if blond hair blue eyed white people don't breed together or with other whites. Those unique features will become extinct. It's just that simple. According to the 1999 November Issue of Scientific American. That's exactly what's supposed to happen to blond haired and blue eyed people by 2050 something. But, the resistance to this trend will be really strong in certain countries like Russia,Germany,Poland and all those Northern European nations. I mean, If men from Africa and the mideast come to Europe looking for work. They also want the pretty white women too. If you're a European man and you see some foreign dark skinned competition. You take action or you don't have mate. I can't deny these men to have their cake and eat it too. So,if they want to make and enforce laws like that in their own countries. It's their right to preserve their own ancestry or ethnicity. Im sure black and Moorish types would be just as infuriated if they saw hordes of white men coming into their countries in Africa and taking their women from them. In South Africa there were laws banning inter-racial mixing or dating. They had to do this. Since, Whites were a minority there. They knew they had to defend themselves with enforcing these laws. Inorder to survive as Europeans in a hostile land period. But, now this is seen as racist or bad. But, I don't think it is bad to have these laws for people who want to preserve their ethnicity. What ever colour or ethnicity they are. Would you get mad at Hawaiians,Africans, Polynesians,Jews,Koreans,Germans or Sweeds for wanting to preserve their own ethnic traits or genes by banning other races from dating and mating with them ? I wouldn't try to stop them. It's their inherent right to self preservation. Every race or racial group has their own unique genetic history and their own features. Which took hundreds of thousands of years to evolve and so should be protected like any other animal or plant species on this planet.

Interracial relationships are becoming common practice and give us a 'window' on another world while opening our eyes on ourselves.

Factor in having children together and several more complex cultural issues come in to play. It really is fertile ground for intercultural communication and building bridges of understanding and respect - all good things.

We are all God's children and should be allowed to live our lives as we see fit. Like some one else stated there are no colors in heaven. God did not put us on this earth to judge any one. So get with the program my brotha, and stop thinking like you got a personal line with the Lord and you got it like that, because we all know that you are not that special......
