You can use a sewing machine but then you will end up with holes in your sequins. If it is at the bottom of a skirt or ?? you may get away with this. Try these sites for easy instructions on how to hand sew them on.

Do you mean sequins?

There should be a hole in the middle of each sequin. Thread your needle and go up through the fabric. Then go up through the sequin and then right next to the sequin go back down through the fabric.
