can someone tell me what the term "Yuppies" is?

The Yuppie term is no longer limited to the young urban professional, they had kids that don't work and the majority of them have become poseurs, They plaster themselves with Tattoos and try to convince the world they are "Bad Boys", their Fathers now get Tattoos as well and by $50,000 kit "Choppers" and pretend to be bikers but the shorts and flippers are a dead give away , while the Mothers drive SUVs. They also will frequent wal-Mart and Target stores now to fit the part more.
