Jane F is right - just go there and look around!

You would be best off moving permanently to the philippines eventually - you can lead a much better quality of life there, and won't have all of the hassles with US Immigration. Why does everyone assume you will want to go back to the US?

Man I am so amazed at how much stupidity there is floating around. You cant just go to the philippines and pick out a bride like your walking into walmarts to buy new pair of drawers.
If you want to marry a woman, any woman and you only want to marry her because she is of a particular race or from a particular country then you are an idiot.
No matter where she is from or what her race is, you want to marry for love, no other reason than plain old simple love.
If you marry for some other stupid reason then you might as well go ahead and put some money aside now for the divorce you are sure to be paying for in the near future.
Good lord man, at least try to meet someone and get to know them before you run off on a wild goose chase and marry the first hooker that grabs you by the dong.

I think I can safely predict that you will end up married to some prostitute or gold digger and have a miserable life for the next few years which will end in divorce.
Better start thinking with the big head instead of following the little one

reply back to me....i can help you..and you will not get dumb answers ....you did not say if you have a philippine girlfriend already..or if you are looking to meet a woman....i have a fiance from the phils....she should be here in usa by august....i will tell you it is not a cheap process...(depending on situation)....its a long process....its best that you have a organization do visa....its better to pay and make sure its done right first time....than to do it yourself just to save a few dollars.....if you want to meet a woman from phils....there are many sites..be careful many scammers also...if they start to call you honey ...or say that they have problems with money for internet...RUN...your best bet is to find a phil-american society in your city...or try to get to know a american men that have filipino wife....his wife may have sister...friends...cousins... he probably would have met some of her family and friends.....he can tell you what he thinks of her friends...cousins......tell you about her family....but be ready ....you want a filipino wife....you also marry her family....be prepared to help her...and her family while you are engaged..and after you marry.....i have no regrets....my fiance is absolutely wonderful...do not let the bad stories scare you...there are good and bad people all over the earth....and once you go there and live there you will have a better undrstanding of why some of the people are they way they are...its called survival..if you are serious....reply back to me.....oh yeah..do not get married there in phils....a spousal visa is a very long process...sometimes up to 2 years.....you want fiance visa....but you can do what we did...a celebration of the rings.....this made her family happy...they accepted this instead of a wedding

est to marry her in the Philippines. then go to he US consulate
in Manila and apply for her green card in the Philippines. when she arrive at LAX, her green card Will be waiting for her at the
airport.
The process takes a few months. her interview Will be tough. she Will have to swear that she was never a member of the Communist party. that she is not a prostitute.and not a drug addict or pusher.

I am US born. Married a woman from the Netherlands. Married in the Netherlands. applied for her green card in the Netherlands
and her green card was at the air port upon arrival in the LAX.
By the way we are divorced. had a quick non contested divorce
in the Netherlands. which also only took a few weeks .
she never became a us citizen and gave up her green card.
and moved back to the Netherlands.wish you better good luck than me.

Go to the Phillipines. Go on dates. Take your time. Find a woman there you love. Ask her to marry you.

That's the only way that works mi amigo.
