I have a question, i have an idea for an invention, but i dont have theexact know how to make it, what should i do? I want to make money off it, and dont want a place that will take like 80% of the earnings, i just want a place that will help. Also, and how do i put something forth? Do i have to build it? then who do i take it to?

I never said i that i dont have any money, and i said that i dont know how to exactly make it. Sorry i was unclear. And i never said that i wanted everyone to work for free, i just said that if i have the idea, and the design, just not the materials to build, i dont want someone to get more money than i do.

Seek out an engineer... Do you need someone to physically make a prototype, or do you not know what materials to use or do you simply not know where to start with the thinking proces??
If there are electronics and design elements to make then there are organisations that can help... The more you do, the lees they charge you... The more they do, the more they charge you... It is universal and frankly, they do not work with ideas only...
Take a look at www.inventconnect.com.au as they often help people that are not sure what to do next... They have an area where you can securely discuss your idea online for free. You simply join the website, register yoiur details and they will contact you by phone and email and work with you where possible...
There is a basic innovation showcase on the website that lists basic summary ideas that people also want support with... The best part is that much of what they support for beginners is free.

Ok let me get this straight. You have no idea how to build it, you have no capital to build it if you knew how, you want someone else to build it for you, you probably want someone to market your product so people will want to buy it, you want everyone to work for you for free, and you want all the profits from the sale of the product.
Once you figure that out buddy, let me know. I'm sure I could come up with a few ways to use people to make me money while I sit around and play video games all day.

There is a new book out called "other peoples money" or something close to that, you should Google it to find it and read it. There is an entire process you must go through and one is to track everything that you do in a notebook, every detail. yes you should try and make one of what your idea is and also ... many more things so try to get that book!

Sometimes you don't have to make one . Whatever your idea is ,DON'T tell someone unless you know you can trust them. Keep track of all your ideas about your item( let's call it a widget). develop improvements for it, simplify it and look into getting a patent for it. There are books about patent law you can checkout or buy. What's cool is if your widget is a good idea and you get a patent for it ,you don't have to build it, you can sell your patent to someone who can build it.
