I always enjoy reading Carl Sanburg.Mostly because .I think he painted a personality to match a character. As in his bio. ABRAHAM LINCOLN he developed personalities for so many people.Stanton " was known as stiff and proud rather than sociable,on occasion designated as cheeky."

you know adjs. answer to the question what kind of...? example--- their was a tiny rabbit in our yard. what kind of rabbit? tiny=adj. this would be the same about describing the char. of a person. good,bad, curious, lovely,crazy, confident, logical, intelligent, witty, dull. a few--remember a noun has to follow the adj. right away. hope this is the right answer.
