Actually, I think they need a combination of both. Since it would be hard to walk away from the current system with all the Benjamins the schools get, I suggest using an amalgamted system in whichn the lesser paying bowl site become playoff game sites and the BCS bowls become semifinal and final games based on whose turn it is to host the title game.

Yes because with the system they have now every 1 lost team can argue that they deserve to play Ohio and have a solid case. Plus a playoff sytem would bring drama, suspense and non football fans to college fball.

The last 8 bowl games and the teams who got bids should play like an NCAAB bracket. 1vs.16 2 vs 15 in the rankings actually

I'm only for the top 4 in one, that's where the controversy always is. Number 1 play number 3, number 4 playes number 2, the winners to the nat championship game...Thats all we need..

i very much agree with dmr. The basketball bracket is such a big deal it would do a lot for college football. plus, you could still have the championship game at one of the bcs bowls. i dont care about the whole "bowl experience" the system isnt very good.

no.....those r just kids out there playing. they arent playing for endorsement deals, or salaries. bowl games should be 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, and so on.
