False. Really good question. Caused me to do some research. Generally when the sympathetic nerves are stimulated, like when the "saber tooth tiger" challenges you, the body shuts down almost all systems and secretes epinephrine and norepinephrine to meet the challenge.

On the other hand, the body relaxes with parasympathetic nerve stimulation.
