The one you are probably referring to (and that those who think the whole lunar landing thing was a hoax) was mounted on a tripod and remotely controlled from earth, with a motor-driven tilt up as the lunar module blasted off from the lander.

Okay, I can't prove any of this. My father told me the truth on his death bed and he left nothing behind that would corroborate his story. Man has not been to the moon. It was all filmed in a specially built studio under Area 51. My father was one of the camera men. The only proof that does exist is that if you recreate the positions of the earth, moon, and sun - according to my father - the shadows are about 47 degrees "lunar" west of where they should be.
The space race was too big a financial burden for the United States. To finance that many trips with equipment that would actually get the astronauts back alive, would have done to the US what Reagan's Star Wars missile program did the the Soviet Union.
Like I said, I have no proof. But the truth is out there.
oh, come on. 3 thumbs down? I thougth this was creative and funny. i'm so unhappy.

The whole moon landing was filmed at a studio. We never went to the moon. The whole thing was a hoax. If you look at any of the film today, it's obvious how fake it is.

They hired a Mexican and promised him $4.65 an hour to film it. He's still on the payroll and will be rich when we pick him up.
