wheres the real rock? im tired of these boy bands trying to act bad a.ss when its not working they just sit there cry and put on makeup!

They are annoying. Unless you are a 13 years old girl, then they are the greatest bands ever.

No, I don't find them annoying. It's just that some people in this world likes the lighter rock bands. Some of those bands that you listed have great songs. I rather go to a concert from one of those bands than a rowdy country or rap concert where the lyrics don't make much sense or the songs put me to sleep. And.. some of these bands don't like cry or put on makeup. Makeup is to make an image better, sometimes.

well I guess it's just a matter of personal opinion. I love mcr but at the same time I get that it seens like there are alot of bands with the same theme and THAT'S totally annoying!... on the other hand - what's wrong with a gut in make up eh? I mean SOME of them can get away with it!

i do agree, to a certain extent.
Some are absolutley obnoxious. But others do have good music. It honestly just depends on the band, some have next to no talent, and some have quite a bit but theyre downshadowed because of whats 'popular' at the time.

You're exactly right. All three bands that you mentioned are terrible. For me though, My Chemical Romance is the worst. I can't stand them. I can't believe people like them.
P.S. Lisa S, Green Day haven't been "punk rock" in a long time. That ship has sailed for them. They're mainstream pop punk and have been for quite some time.

Green day is a punk band that's not even excepted in the real punk community. Never even heard of mcr so whats that tell ya. We need Ozzy, Axl and Vince Neil to go kick the Sh*t out of every one of them. P.S Its not just you.

All music is great, if you don't like what you here you don't have to listen. Right now I'm listening to Black Label Society. In 30 minutes I will listen to something else. We all have a choice, music started out with nothing more than Two sticks and a hollow log. It must have been great. "PEACE"

I agree, Green Day sold out and the Killers were never really good. Another instance of the record companies controlling what you hear on the radio.

My daughter loves Green Day and I could just vomit when she cranks her radio. PLUS - Green Day pretends to be all political, when all they are is anti-American.
Nice duet with U2, not.

um not really.
green day- well they are my FAVORITE band. um if you think they are annoying then listen to their earlier things. (such as kerplunk, 1,039 smoothed out slappy hour, and dookie). those are more "rock" or w/e you think the new ones arent
killers- well i like them, but i can understand why you wouldnt. its just a personal opinion really...
mcr- well i kinda really like them. i actually think their good.
but no offense, but who the heck cares if you think their annoying. then quit complaining and listen to what you call "rock"
