ask yourself, what are the things that most of your star players dont want to do ? you answer that, and you do exactly that thing. and i'm pretty sure you will be picked by your coach.
basket ball is a team game. in a good team, everybody has their role. maybe your star players are good in scoring, but none of them are willing to rebound the ball. or maybe none of them are willing to do defense. you can be a rebounder, a perimeter defender, a post defender, a playmaker, a distributor, etc. analyze what your team needs and improve yourself on that area. and everytime you have a chance to play, give 110%, and make sure your coach knows that.
good luck

Just try your hardest every day of tryouts. If your not the most skilled then try and be the fastest. When doing your running push yourself as hard as you can. Coaches love players that are fast and have good stamina. Always keep a positive attitude and compliment your teammates even when they miss. Coaches will want players with positive attitudes. If you aren't a very good shooter then try passing more. For someone to score they need someone to pass. Just try your hardest every day and keep working even when everyone else has given up. If you don't make the team it's not the end of the world. Just try out next year. Good Luck!

coaches notice hustle, attitude, and effort over skill. coaches would rather take a nice, hardworking, team-player than a cocky ballhog. coaches definately like to see you running when everyone else is walking. be the first one on the court and the last one off the court. Good Luck

In such a lot circumstances, if a attorney is employed, prison time can also be prevented however corrections or probation can be issued. And surely restitution can be required within the stolen quantity.

Drive strait into them. You'll get a foul (maybe) but they'll be scared. Also, pump fake. If they're not great, they'll fall for it. Protect the ball. Play D with your feet, not your hands.

if you push yourself to be the best you can... the coach will notice the effort. even if you dont think you can do it, try to steal, shoot, or do anything! just effort will make the coach notice
