Hi >
I use mine for either parking a beer, as a beer mat, putting them under potted plants, or hanging them in rows in the allotment to scare critters away.
Any other good ideas ?
Bob

Some Old C.Ds, are worth a lot of money, so worth checking them out before throwing them out.
Alternatively, dependant, upon how many you have, you can paint them, and make your own works of art on them.
Make casters for your furniture, so your furniture does not leave marks on the carpet. or somewhere to place your glass or cup
Make a skirt/top/belt/item of clothing . How about mmaking your own wind mobile.

I drilled a hole at the top and attached them loosely to the inside of my fence to keep cats out.It works as well, they also look great at night reflecting the few garden lights I have and in the morning they change colour often reflecting rainbows through the window onto the walls. When my 5 year old daughter sees this she thinks it's fantastic and rushes to school to tell her friends, and I think that is the best use of all.

Some lorry drivers still put them on the insides of their windscreens, believing that old wive's tale that they reflect the hand held speed guns that the police use.

I have also seen them nailed to trees, and gateposts on unlit country lanes, the theory being that at night they will reflect headlights and show where the entrance to the farm road is.

Well Bob - I don't know if it's what you are looking for but my cousin makes mobiles out them.... or sun catchers, because they are easier to make. Love the coaster idea though!

I work in Information Systems, and we use our old cd's to decorate our cubicle walls.... we are working this week to transform them from the shape of a turkey into a giant snowflake.
