I am a junior in highschool dating a freshman. I love her deeply, but her so called "friends"(she hates them for doing this) think the reason i wanted to go out with her is to have sex. Being far from the truth this obviously this upsets me, however when they shout "RAPEST!" at me whenever i walk past them in the halls and i feel this crosses the line. Is there anything i can do to prevent these people from broadcasting their opinions of me so publicly? Does this qualify as harrasment? If so who do i contact to get them to stop

It is harrasment. What you need to do is either talk to a guidance counsellor or a really nice teacher, tell them whats happening and they will more then likely be able to give you advice on what to do and to get them to stop.
Its obviously not fair whats happening, you need to talk to your gf and tell her to talk to her 'friends' and get them to stop harrassing you. You can overcome this situation without breaking up with your girlfriend and having a bad reputation all you need to do is seek advice from an authority figure.

Has she talked to them about this?
I don't think they realize what a false charge of rape can do to a reputation. It's really damaging.
Have you tried to talk to them and explain how you feel about their friend?
It is wrong, but maybe a guidance counselor can help you.

Yes,it does qualify as harassment.I would go to your teacher that you like and trust.Explain to him what is going on with your classmates. If he tells you not to worrier about things. Then go over his head and go to the principle office. Then he can have a met ting with everybody mom and dad. That would get them to stop.

i think its harassment try talking to the principal or a counselor. if that doesnt help maybe go to the police. your only a couple years older than her. it would be different if you were a teacher and dating a student
