I want this new lg phone called the enV. I really like it. My mom doesn't like spending alot of money on phones but I really want this phone. I think it would b good because i want an ipod but this phone has an mp3 player so i wouldn't need an ipod. please how can i convince her to purchase this phone 4 me? thanx much!

Maybe your mother wants to use the money she works hard for like buying your clothes, putting food on the table and having a roof over your head.
Why don't you do her a favor and get yourself a PT job and work hard just like she does, and save your money to buy your precious phone.
Then you will truly act like a grown up and realize sometimes things are not handed to you - you have to get them yourself.

Tell your mum that the carrying too many gadgets is troublesome and this one serves multiple purpose. Also this is a generic mp3 player, so you need not buy songs from itune and can get from ur friends, so money saved on that front too. Also its a christmas time and a new year time, so just ask her that this is the one you want for the new year /christmas gift. You'd remember it throughout ur life that mom gave this cool multifunction phone on your XXth birthday.

Tell your mom "How about instead of getting an ipod I get a phone with an ipod in it." Tell her the good parts of the phone, let her find the bad. "It's two thing's in one, mom. You can get me it for Christmas." Trust me I know about a mom who doesn't want you to spend on phones, but they are necessities.

Tell her that you realize that money doesn't grow on trees and that she and or your father work very hard to keep you under a roof and with heat and food and that you do appreciate them, butter them up and show some real sense and then ask them ... and except their answer without whining. Then even if they say no, they may reconsider after talking it over in bed because of how smart and caring you were!

I heard a story on the news this am, a kids grandmother saved to get him a gamebox4000 or whatever, he found it and opened it and was playing it. He was 12, his mom caught him and called the cops to arrest him.
