I don't need anything I just wanted to see what kind of answers I would get. What are you favorite games or memories when playing it? Do your children or younger relatives love it as well, or do they like the newer systems better?

I know someone back up North who still owns a Super Nintendo.
He says he's never gonna throw it out.

Haha yea man... Still got the NES and SNES. Power Pad included with the Duck Hunt gun LOL

NES, my faves were the Double Dragon games, the Castlevanias, Metroid, alllll the Megamans, California Games, Duck Tales, Final Fantasy, Ghosts and Goblins, Gunsmoke, Crystalis, Dragon Warrior 4, both Zeldas... hmm that's all I can think of..

SNES games were like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Final Fantasy 2 & 3, Zelda, Super Metroid, and some of the earlier ones like the first Mario and F Zero

I'm noticing pretty much anyone younger than me now has nothing earlier than a Playstation, and about everyone that is my age (24) even has atleast an XBox or something. Guess I'm just too old school LOL

Ever played on Turbografx 16? Haha

Both. I am still pretty young, i got the SNES for christmas the year N64 came out. I remeber thinking it was my " Nintendo 64". I remember staying up with my dad until the wee hours of the morn trying to beat bowser in that last battle in Super mario world, or getting through that last dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: A link to the Past. I still occassionly bust it out to get my fix of nostalgic gaming goodness.Super Puch Out is awesome!!Even after the getting the Ps2, Xbox 360, and now the Wii, me and my dad still think The SNES is still the greatest video game system EVER. Oh man, those were the days!

i still have my Nintendo 64. i still love to dust it off and take it out every once in a while to play James Bond 007 GoldenEye. That was a classic!! love it.... truthfully- i like the old systems better probably because i had so many good memoreis with them like staying up long hourse into the night trying to defeat the boss levels on all the different games and i remember we used to blow on th games when they didn't work cuz somehow that actually made it better. lol.. good times. i own a play station 2 and 3 but i don't really get time to play them, i'm just not as into video games as i used to be back in the day, so that's why i prefer the older gaming systems- it brings back good memories and lately i haven't had time to make new memories with my new systems...

I was cleaning out the storage room a little while back and found an old super Nintendo with some games and a controller plus there was a Nintendo 64 with a few games and the controller too. They both worked fine so we gave them to a family down the street....the kids were happy to have them....they were as good to them as the PS2 was to our kids. Thank god our kids are into something else now...I haven't heard them talk about the latest greatest (yet)

I still have both, but haven't played them in a while. Favorite games were Super Mario Brothers 1 & 3 (didn't much care for #2). I haven't bought any more game systems since the Playstation (1) came out.

we have a nintendo and SNES.

u didn't ask about this, but i will add that we also have an atari, sega genesis, a ps2, and soon to be ps3. i am partial to atari because it was the first one i had.

my kids like the newer systems better as do i, but every now and then, i like to go back to memory lane. they are starting put a lot of old games on ps2, so we aren't missing out on as much as before.

We used to have the original nintendo at my grandparents house. It was so fun! I don't remember the games we had though because a few years ago it stopped working. The only thing I slightly remember was a duck hunting one. The other "old" system we had was the original sega. I loved that thing too!

Yes, and I still love it even though i dont play it as often, though the graphics suck I think the games were better back then..

Honestly I think the Nintendo 64 was the best system of all time though..

my mother in law has the original nintendo. she is 52. i go over and play all the time with her. our fave is PAC-MAN.!!!! It is the greatest.
When I was new in town and preg with my first child we spent hours upson hrs playing pac man.....days and days on end. The 9 months went by really quickly.
I have a PS2 here, and we have the old arcade games for that platform and I have a pac-man and pacmania on it. We play that when she is here, but she says she likes her better.
That was a good question. I am giving it a thumbs up!
