I got win xp pro, sp2 on it, 1gb of ram and 120 disk.I am using IE 7. For some reason yahoo spades'games do not work anymore, i get a red cross and a warning about applet failed, I got java(tm)2platform installed(uninstalled and installed almost 10 x now).all other games in yahoo are ok.the sites regarding this problem, do not open as well, the yahoo ones.how do i download yspades applet?

I use XP with these setting to get in.
JAVA has a small font glitch.Plus other problems. If java is launching your games The coffee cup logo while loading. Go to start button, settings, go to control panel open internet options. advance tab, scroll down and see if msn VM is listed, if so, unclick the 2 java listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. This lets msn vm launch games. this will SPEED UP game loading time. i play games about every night with no problems using these settings. I have found the solution. You need to go to freecreed.com/pm and follow the instructions there. It will help you with Java and if that doesn't work then it will help with Microsoft VM. Save the site cause you will need to reboot a couple of times. Once you are done it will tell you how to go into your control panel and set your default to the VM(virtual machine). If you use a backdoor to get into spades rooms you must go to yahoo games the first time so that you can reload spades. After you do that you can then use your backdoor again.

Are you using sunlight Java ? I had a situation with that various months in the past very very similar to what your describing, I had to place in sunlight and positioned on a distinctive java I now use Microsoft digital device without problems

I'm having a problem too, same description. Also, spades always lags recently, no luck with Yahoo lately.
