I am sure he is proud of his daughter as any parent is.We may not approve of their choices or their life style especially those that ultimately bring hardship to them.And a grandchild is a grandchild,it had nothing to do with the manner or timing of it's birth.
Tolerance does not seem to be a quality that liberals posses in the same quantity they demand it of others.

There is NOTHING wrong with Mary Cheney's social values. She's in a loving, monogamous relationship and now wants to raise a family.
On the other hand, her economic stances are a little too conservative for me.

I agree with Andy G. However, when one looks at the stance of the right takes on gays not being fit to raise children, this whole story starts to become quite laughable. Hopefully, as she raises this child and the anit gay people out there realize how misguided they are about this issue, then maybe there anal retentive ways will subside.
