Tommorow is my first school dance. The theme is " Winter Wonderland." Also I will be coming straight from basketball practice so I need something quick and easy to throw on but still looks nice. P.S. I am in 6th grade.

Wear a nice sweater.....white with some faux fur....maybe a nice white winter hat....take it off...once you start to dance....wear some really cool jeans....and wear some really dressy boots!!

Depending on the type of dance it is dress for the weather. If it's formal the simple black dress is a good idea with earrings and a necklace. If that is too chilly for you try doing this. Wear a long skirt with a nice sweater ( a light sweater you will be inside) and shoes. Shirt under the sweater is optional if it gets to hot for yoru. If it's a casual affair wear a nice pear of embroadered jeans. Pick out a festive top light blue, white, red or green that fits the season. If you have a comfortable pair of shoes that are between casual and dress role with them. What ever you do if your gonna be dancing make sure the shoes are comfortable enough to dance in without causing pain. Have fun at the dance.

I understand you because last year I was in 6th grade and I wore a simple jean skirt and a pink t-shirt with my name spray-painted on it and I wore some sneakers and after that in the yearbook for 05-06 I was best dancer and most laidback kid at school. For your hair I would suggest maybe in a high ponytail so it wont make you sweat while you are dancing! Have fun!
P.S. Or wear some jeans or a pair of capris!

It's your first school dance. You have to look gorgeous but you have to get dressed in a short time. I'd say you can pull together a whitish dress and pink ballet flats, so that you can dance easily in them. Your hair can just be wavy or ponytailed, if you want. For your makeup, a touch of lip gloss and eye shadow will definitely do the trick!

Oh the thoughts of children...Hmm...If your looking for a dress get a quick one that reaches your knees.You can bring all your clothes in a little baggy...*laughs* Also,there are slippers that are nice.Everything needs to be ivory or white..oh and no short skirts.Seriously,kid your only in sixth grade ....Good Luck

Some Blue Jeans With a cute top. preferably a pink top! oh and throw your hair in a pony tail and put a clip in it so the pony tail is like showing up over your head.

Black dressy pants and a red sweater with black boots. Put your hair in a high ponytail and have one piece of hair on each side and curl those pieces of hair coming down on the sides. That would look so cute.
