Ok I'll be honest.... I am one that nags....*hanging my head in shame*....I start out just saying something and then when I get ignored or I don't think my husband has moved fast enough then the nagging starts. I personally think it has to do with the fact that when you have kids you have to nag to get anything done and it carries over to the husband. I try not to do it but sometimes it's hard not to! My husband and I finally came up with something that's working pretty good so far. When I start nagging he just comes up and gives me a kiss to shut me up! And if he's nagging (cause you guys do it too!) I just do the same thing.

Ok....I am a woman, and I DO nag from time to time, but even my husband will tell you, I have every right. He has what I call SELECTIVE HEARING, which means...he only hears what will benefit him, or keep him from sleeping on the couch! haha! If I ask him to do something (example: fix the washer, because it is making a squealing noise) he will ignore me for a week, and I have to continue to listen to it. He does, however listen to me, 2 weeks later when I refuse to do anymore laundry, and he cannot find his favorite shirt. Women Nag....and men Procrastinate.

Simple one buddy, they are testing you to see if you LISTEN and if you don't -then they take it as you dont care, then they start telling you stuff in a "nagging" style, that is just their fustration to you not listening coming out. My wife doesn't nag, I listen and it's that simple.

THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST ANSWER!

Because we ask the guy to do one little thing (call to get our car fixed) and 6 months later, it is still sitting in the driveway not touched. Why do we nag? Go figure.

As a woman, I have to say that I tend to only complain, rant or NAG if I have a valid reason! DId I stumble into the woman bashing section? Oops...my bad!

because men always gives us reasons to nag.

because the men don't respond to our questions, or us asking them to do something for us. if you just respond, even with a yes or no, or just a minute, but if you say you would, then do it.

They do it to see what kind of man they have. If you don't put them in check, they'll walk all over you!
