You're all stupid. What Charles B means is that America is a corporation.
The way america is run with it's elections and congress comes straight from British corporations of the 1700's that is how they were run.
The British corporations felt that running a nation as a corporation with elections was a more effective way to govern and more accountable to the people (shareholders).
That's why most cities are known as the corporation of (fill in the blank)

Do not understand your point for whether or not I capitalize,write in all lower case letters,capital letter only the first of each word or whatever does not change that the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, United States Of America, the united states of america OR Whatever does not change the status of the mass of land identified on any and all maps as being the United States of America .Is not the Twilight Zone where spelling could change the status of a ountry or continent or Whatever. I really dislike the today usage of that word like in whatever but in this instance screams for it.

Take a look at the front of the US $1 dollar bill and the back of all the other US currencies. The words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are printed on all of them. If your so-called fact were true that would make all US currency counterfeit as it would mean that the printer (the US Mint) knowingly falsified and intentionally printed illegal information on the bills.
Learn the currency laws of the USA...and maybe your eyes will be opened about reality.

You have evidently allowed yourself to be misled!
Even so that we speak of the US in the plural form, it nevertheless is one and only one country! Inspite of the fact that the various states have a certain autonomy, that does not make them independant states!
As long as the law of these US, which is commonly known as the federal law, prevails over the laws of the various states, the US as a whole are very well one nation in one country, with one overall government!
