The Oakland Raiders have the #1 pass DEF. in the NFL! It's surprising because the raiders have always had a great offense, but now they have a high powered defense. However their offense is terrible. Their #32 in passing OFFENSE and #32 in points scored a game. That's a bad offense. Our defense is our offense. Our defense scores a big part of our points off interceptions and fumble recoveries. Our defense allows us to get good field goal range even though we mess it up. The Raiders were like 12th in POINTS ALLOWED A GAME the last time I CHECKED. The reason were 12th there is because of our offense. For example last week against the Texans the Texans recovered a Fumble from Rashard Lee (our RB) for a TD. Our offense allowed that. Then our special teams allowed a kick to be returned all the way to the 2 yard line. Those points were practically allowed by our special teams truthfully our defense only should get blamed for allowing 6pts(2FGS). Our defense even scored 7 of our 14 points last week. Our defense is great, I mean if we had any offense at all our team could for sure be a .500 wining % team or probably better. The Oakland Raiders will be good in the future if they can get any offense. The Raiders allowed -5 passing yards against the Texans, that's a negative 5, but they still lost. I'm also a raiders fan so I know this stuff.

not really, oakland use to be really good at penalites, but not anymore. oakland's pass defense is pretty good, but not great. they pick off balls well, but they give up big plays over the head alot. someone mentions oakland being #1 in the pass ranking, but didnt check how much times they were thrown against (they are the last in the league, teams dont throw against oakland as often as other teams) why? well because you do not need to pass if Oakland could stop the run, but they can't seem to tackle the runner until they get into the secodary.

the defense is surpising however, but they are now a shut down defense yet.

Actually...I agree.

With players like Derrick Burrgesses (16 Sacks Last Season) and vetarn NT Warren Sapp, the Raider D is ranked #7 according to ESPN. Their offense is the point of concern, Art Shell is a good coach but this team, just like the Packers need to be revamped. My plan for them would be to keep Derrick Burgesses, warren Sapp, and Andrew Walters and trade everyone else away and start with young rookies or young experienced players that can WORK TOGTER!

No I don't think they are good at all. They have a good defense. But they need to make some serious changes in the offseason. Since they will probally have the #1 pick in the draft. They should trade that pick to like the #6-10 pick. And get extra picks and than be able to get a young qb. Than use those extra picks to rebuild the offense. I'd get rid of Randy Moss and get picks for him. They need to rebuild. They can't patch up the team. Just look at the Redskins. They patch there team up and still loose.

raiders need a new o coordinator. I hate the raiders but i have to say their d is pretty decent. Their o line is lookin like houstons and randy moss looks washed up, you shouldnt have let gabriel go.
