"Fifteen of the attackers were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt, and one from Lebanon."

Hmm, I'm no expert, but I don't see IRAQ in there anywhere. And there were no WMDs in Iraq, so... yep, I guess our invasion was completely unjustified. Wonderful.

No one thinks the 9/11 terrorists were from Iraq. That's just a lie liberals and Dims tell and some fools believe it. Iraq had WMDs. Everyone in the world knows it. He used them. Just because they haven't been found does not mean they did not exist. After 9/11, a threat is a threat. I don't care if it's Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, or any other group. Take them out before they get us!

America invaded Iraq to take control of the oil fields. But, they couldn't tell that to the American public, so a propaganda story was made up about alleged ties between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda.

It didn't matter that al-Qaeda are Islamists and Saddam Hussein's Ba'ath Party are secular pan-Arab nationalists (how many Americans even know the difference?)

The story was spread far and wide, and many Americans still believe it, even though it's false.

Ironically enough, Saddam's ruthless Mukhabarat secret police had kept al-Qaeda out of Iraq - the American invasion smashed the Iraqi police state apparatus, and al-Qaeda came in, filled the vacuum and are now major players in a country they were not able to operate in at all prior to 2003.

The reason for that is because of the war. The war against terrorism is mainly against Iraq. They probably say that 9/11 is Iraq's fault because we are in war with them, and if you were in war with someone and one hundred people from your country died, you suspect whomever you are in war against, in this case Iraq. But, you are right we have no right to say that it is Iraq's fault, we have no evidence, and doing so is wrong. I think that might be why the war is intensifying, so really the fact that the war is intensifying is our fault.
