I can never understand what the problem is of believing in a dream. I'm 52 and I still believe in the fun of Father Christmas. We still have stockings under the tree and not so much a letter to Santa, but a list of stuff we'd like to get. That way, Santa can choose the things we've earned during the year and buy what we need or want. It's rare we ever get everything on the list, but we live in hope.

About 6 or 7. Mind you a lot of kids stop believing in Birmingham five or six years ago, when santa parachuted down,at an Aston villa football match against Arsenal. He got caught on top of the stand and fell 150 foot down. Kids were crying all over the stadium thinking santa had died. Still we won the game so i was happy

Sometime in 1960..
Father Christmas was concocted by the propagandists of Hollywood . His picture even reached blokes like me living in a small Malaysian village way back in the late 50's. You did not have to be a Christian to believe. In my village we Buddhists, my Muslim and Hindu neighbours all thought of this fat ,white bearded guy as cool.
Good-bye Father Christmas. Was good while you lasted.

Why do you have to stop believing. It fun to think you have a gigantic man sliding down your ever so small chimeny bring you lots of wonderful things to make you smile and be happy. The child in everyone of us smiles when we think of santa so why do you have to stop believing. Im 25

About 9 or 10, I remember my friends were talking about it at school and I was trying to be like "yeah, I know... no father christmas... at all... sniff sniff" and trying to be all cool and that and I went home and cried because my parents had betrayed me! I'll still tell it to my kids though, it's just part of life!

Dear God, you are kidding me!? You mean he ain't????
(exits stage right in tears)
Seriously though, my younger brother saw Father Christmas up in the sky. He maintains this to be TOTALLY TRUE, even today, an he is retiring next year from the Metropolitan Police!?!?
The power of the mind - incredible.
