just read question bout preg woman and smoking (as well as many others over the months)
they dont ask for the abuse some people feel is ok to do!
most of you know pregnancy is one of the most exciting and scary times in life for both men and women.
most of us have enough to worry about (misscariage, test results, ultrasounds, giving birth!) without people being inconsiderate to there issue.
yes some people have abused the system but i think most of you can spot the genuine questions from the fake ones!
please have a thought for someone else who maybe scared, confused and unsure. thats why they are asking for your advice.

I agree. I am new to this and feel that some answers are really heartless. Though I must admit that some make me laugh. A lady was asking how to stop her 4 year old from yelling - someone answered "masking tape".
My first question on this site was legit and someone abused me calling me a moron and other nasty stuff. I must say that I was taken aback because I didn't expect it

I give my honest thought sometimes it might be harsh... if someone is asking something very stupid they get a stupid response. If one writes a decent question, I'll give my best advice. Everyone KNOWS it's not good to smoke in pregnancy I'm not going to lie to protect someones feelings and say sure SMOKE ALL U WANT it has never been proven to cause a problem i tell like it is. Candy coating stuff is for children everyone on the pregnancy answer should be adult enough to handle any responce.

i know how you feel there are so many nasty thoughtless people on here, all they seem to want to do is just upset and hurt people, which makes me wonder why and what the hell is wrong with their heads. i could say don't let them get to you but i know they do as they do me, its such a shame because this site has really helped me in the past and i'm sure it helps others too and thats what its for, its a shame you have to sift through the dirt to get to the gold.

you are so right. sometimes people just want to hear other's thoughts, even though they know the right thing to do. sometimes you really dont need professional advice.
the only time anyone deserves rude answers is to rude idiotic questions that dont make sense or are not relevant to life in general...like..what happened to my pillow....

Agreed. Thanks so much for addressing this. I know there have been many stupid questions I have asked. I ask because I am not sure. I also ask because their are other pregnant mothers on here. Thanks for posting this.

It is so much fun to give bad advice to people. If they want real help they should see someone who has studied in that field not ask a bunch of jokers.
