what are some glitches and malfunctions of ps3. what can't it do that the 360 can? And for someone who has both 360 and ps3 what is better? From what i seen there pretty much the same. I dont care if your just sticking up for sony or microsoft. I want the real answer.

What can the 360 do that the PS3 can't do? Play 360 games. Has XBox Live, which is the premiere online service. It's going to be tough for Sony to outdo XBL.
What can the PS3 do that the 360 can't do? Play PS3 games. Games are in Blu-ray disks. Wireless connection right out of the box.
Which is better? Now? I would have to say the 360 because it has better games. Only game I have for the PS3 is Resistance. XBL can't be beaten.
Future? PS3. Blu-ray is going to what's going to separate the PS3 from the 360. I think gamers need Blu-ray. DVD-9 just isn't enough to store what developers want to put into a game because game worlds are getting bigger and bigger, and that's going to take up a lot more space to store the data. PS3 graphics should get better. You said they look the same, but it's 2nd generation vs. 1st generation. So, 2nd generation vs. 2nd generation should be a big difference.

360 is pretty good...but PS3 is king of the next generation.
People complain about he PS3 price but let's look at it from a different angle.
Take the 360 and PS3. Now let's make them somewhat equal, i.e. pricewise and hd capability by adding the HD add on to the 360. Now you have two systems with High Def capability, and same price, since the HD addon is $200.
360-20 gigs while ps3-60 gigs
360-tri core processor, ps3-8 core processor
360-HD DVD (25 gig limit), ps3-Blu-Ray (50 gig+ limit)...not to mention more motion picture and manufactor support.
Two systems, same price. People complain about the price tag yet you get more for your money with the PS3. And with a technologically superior system, comes greater capabilities. That is why PS3 is king.

the ps3 doesnt have any real glitches right now, except that they CANT MAKE ENOUGH! it is an all around better system than the xbox 360, and has a pretty cood selection of games compared to the xbox 360, which only has gears of war and halo 3, the latter not even released yet

If you're a gamer, get the 360.
I'll try not to be too biased...
PS3 only:
+Very cheap Blu-ray player
+Free online
+Almost full backwards compatibility with PS1/PS2 (200 titles are not available, including popular ones)
+Very quiet when running; stays cool
+Connects to PSP

-Expensive
-Controller has NO rumble
-So far, only decent game is Resistance: FoM (which is mediocre compared to 360 library)
-Hard to find (eBay is very expensive)
-Limited online mode (free is not always good)
-No upscaling (if you don't have an HDTV, you're screwed for graphics)
-Doesn't come with component cables
360 only:
+360's GPU > PS3's Cell (360 can produce potentially superior graphics (by a little))
+Community (8 million+ sold, compared to 400,000 PS3s)
+Online service is the BEST (but not free)
+Killer, must buy games (Gears of War, Dead Rising, etc.)
+Lots of AAA upcoming games (Halo 3, Lost Planet, etc.)
+Connects to Zune and Windows Media Center
+Upscaling (no super good TV needed)

-Runs hot and noisy
-Only around 200 Xbox 1 games are compatible (but the important ones are there)
Bottom line:
Get the PS3 for: Blu-ray, multimedia

360 is only better right now because of the games since it has been out longer. PS3 is a better console though since it uses a cell processor and it has stronger graphics. Wait for games to come out for the ps3 and i gurantee it will be better. Everything except for the damn price of course, lol.

PS3 had glitches in the disk drive on 80 % of all the modules. Xbox360 came through 2 days earlier than expected with better solution than expected.

PS3 RULES!!!! You can move around like the wii (for some racing games).
