Obviously these women haven't purchased shoes before. I purchase shoes all the time. I just got a white 4" heel sandal last week, and it is great! zappos.com is the best sight for shoes, they have all different types of shoes from all different types of designers so you don't have to shop around. Bakers.com is a good site as well, really cute shoes.
