I watched Bleach up until they rescued Rukia from Soul Society, which is when the fillers started, sorry don't remember the episode #. I watched a couple of those episodes but lose interest so I went on and watch Full Metal Alchemist instead. Can someone tell me if the anime ever pick up the next arch in the manga yet or has it been fillers all these time still? Thanks...

No not yet. I agree at first the earlier episodes of the filler/bount arc were slow but it become better especially the 100's. I'm watching 106 right now and I looked in wikipedia that it will end in the next 2-4 episodes. Trust me on this one

Hope that helped

it is probably never gonna end until 2008 or late 2007...based on manga, the soul society arc(the rescue rukia) ended at chapter 182, the current arc is still ongoing at chapter 254, and in my opinion, based on the naruto filler arcs, it should at least have one to two hundred or more chapters....like when the manga is around chapter 300 plus that they will start showing the anime entering the next arc, in other words, you should start watching other animes as well, as this is going to be a very long wait.....i am a naruto fan myself and i have survived around a year plus of somewhat horrible fillers. but compared to bleach, bleach has much better fillers, but yes, they are still quite boring. But recent news has revealed that the naruto fillers will end next febuary 2007....so if you happen to not watch naruto episodes, you can start catching up now, that is, if you skip all the filler episodes...(:, but there are definately still some that are worth a watch! That is if your favourite characters make an appearance or some sort.

It seems that every Shonen Jump related anime is in filler land for some reason. I sure hope its not the same with One Piece. And i say this due to that im stuck watching the fansubs that Kaizoku makes.

But yes. Itll most likely end when that last bountou gets killed indeed. But from what Jian said. I wouldnt be surprised if Bleach pulls a Naruto and makes a new filler arc.

Bleach's fillers have already ended a long time ago.
Now it's about the Bounto who's attacking Soul Society.
You've missed a lot.

The first episode with a scene from the manga in it again is episode 342. The first part of that episode is filler, but the last part of it is from the manga. So far, the episodes after that have been manga-based. (Except 355, which is a New Year special filler in Soul Society.)

From what I know, Manga department and Anime department are not related anymore. It's like they sold the rights to the anime people to do whatever they like with those names. I will be suprise if they will ever follow the manga storyline.

If you are talking about all that bounto crap, then no. But it's coming to an end soon, since there is only Karya left to be killed. They are taking their sweet*** time with it though. We are now on episode 105.
