yes, a mans penis would shrink if a he took female hormones, the same as taking steroids. The man would start developing breasts, storing fat in butt and thighs instead of belly, his voice would become higher, etc. but female hormones would not turn someone gay. usually its the other way around, some gay men want to become women (my boyfriend has a grandpa-ma) and do so with hormone replacement and surgeries.

I doupt it would turn him gay unless he already felt that way. Likely it would make his muscles and hips softer and rounder. It might make the breasts grow. I have seen in Thailand many people who took hormones so the could be more feminine. I think it makes you die faster though.
