M6. It is a no-brainer.

The M5. The M6 is a better performance car, but is not as solid as a daily driver, nor as functional. The Z4 convertible is really a niche vehicle and I don't care for convertibles (I am from Detroit....).
The M5 is an understated power grocery-getter that will rock your socks off every morning on the way to work, in the afternoon to grab some lunch, and in the evening for a night on the town or a quick jab on the freeway. Clearly the best car BMW has.

I would do the M5 or a Z4M coupe. The M6 is ugly and the rear is hideous. But in the real world money is a factor, but I already have a deposit down on the new M3 when it debuts.
UPDATE: And umm yes you, well I can atleast, can preorder the NEW M3 through Military Auto Sales - they have early pricing but I cant pickout my options yet or order my car to how I want it.

Ok...If he's a business man, try the BMW 760li Individual 2008 or 750li....If he's a young rich man, try the 2008 BMW M6 or 2008 BMW M5.....If he want to play around try the 2008 BMW M3 Coupe or Sedan...If he already got married, try the 2008 BMW X5 4.8i V8.......

if money wasnt a factor i will get the m6, so i can send it off to fiskar coachbuild and then be the happy owner of a fisker latigo. an m5 wagon would be pretty cool too.

M5 has excellent road handling and grip, and looks very sexy. I don't like what BMW has done with the rear end on the new M6 as well as the new 7 series. It looks boxy if you ask me.
