Do money make people happy? even if its earned in illegal and unethical way?

Enduring happiness does not come from ‘making it.’ Less to say about illegal or via unethical means. Imagine someone could snap their fingers and give you fame, fortune, and leisure. Would you be happy? You would be euphoric, but in the short run. Gradually you would adapt to your new circumstance and life would return to its normal mix of emotions.

YES I AM HAPPY EARNING MONEY ILLEGALLY BUT IT IS MUCH FUNNIER TO GET LUCKY EARNING MONEY LIKE IN A CASINO THE MORE THE BETTER YOU SEE I AM TRAINED IN THE MILITARY AND I AM A RECENT VETERAN BUT MY SCORES ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO GO TO COLLEGE TO DO WHAT I WANT AND HOW DOES IT MAKE SINCE FOR ME TO GET SOME CRAPPY JOB AT A FAST FOOD PLACE WHEN I JUST SERVED 2 TERMS OVER SEAS AFTER I ENDED MY TERM OF SERVICE MY JOB DOES NOT CARRY INTO THE CIVILIAN WORLD IN ANY REAL WAY 21 B FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO KNOW OLD 12B WELL ANY WAY WHAT KIND OF S H I T IS IT WHEN I HAVE A PERFECT RECORD AND CAN'T GET A JOB AT ANY PLACE THAT MAKES WHAT I DID WHEN I WAS NOT OVER SEAS IN THE MILITARY AND IF I GET THE SAME PAY I DON'T WORK ENOUGH HOURS AND SO PEOPLE WONDER WHY PEOPLE DO UNETHICAL THINGS TO GET AHEAD OR EVEN CATCH UP

I don't consider this question as an intelligent one! Bcz u know earnings means some how rather u r depriving others. I will answer this question in other way. I came from a solvent family. After my university life I attended an interview for a good job in a multinational company. I got it. One of my senior call me , and told, look u don't need this job . U have enough means to live. U can start ur business or go to abroad and so many things why did u deprive other boy who really need the job?
look the 2nd person in the Que is a poor boy ,his father can't going to loose his job for his eyes to operation. If he gets the job his family will survive. So, What is the logic!Again, He who can't survive or nor getting food, cloth & shelter , money never illegal for them. For his /her exixtance nothing is unethical if society does not support his basic needs.

Money don't unnecessary make people happy,but life is miserable without it.Money is needed for survival,when you went for grocery shopping,is there a sign saying 'Legal Money only'.
Earning money legally is the right way and others is wrong and shouldn't be encouraged.But earning money is legally is not that easy for some people.No,those people are not proud and not happy,but they need to survive.

Only the ones who don't have a conscience would be happy earning money unethically...........or the ones who are desperate as they don't have other means. I don't think I would be happy pedalling drugs which kills lives, I wouldn't be happy betting or selling illegal arms!!!!!!!!!!! I think it varies from person to person but yes most of the people wouldn't be happy making their homes by destroying others homes.

Don't go into debt just for a wedding. To spend the next weeks, months, even years paying off a 1 day event (as great as it may be) is not a good idea. Once married you will have better uses for that cash. Re-think that plan. Debt is not the way to start a marriage.

Yes, they are Some of the happiest people I've ever known in my life were members of the mafia - they had everything they and their families would ever need financially, so they had no worries.

Money doesn't know where it came from - and if you got the down payment on your house by years of honest labor working in a nursing home, or by an armed robbery, it doesn't matter, the banks and stores will still accept your money as "LEGAL TENDER GOOD FOR ALL DEBTS PUBLIC AND PRIVATE"

Happyness is a relative term. Unless we beleive that money is ony part of life, need to have minimum comforts in the life, but not the end of its self, no one satisfied with his earnings. Even Ambanis, Birlas and Tatas are not satisfies with their wealth.

I strongly beleive it will not be possible to earn more in legal ways. Even ordinary people also tries to avoid taxes.....If we go to a shop and want to purchase a Rs 50 item, if the shop owner said with bill we need to pay Rs 5 more as tax, we normally asks him to give with out tax.

First one has to develop an integrated view of life. We need some comforts in life to work efficience, but that should not be all in the life.
