They're actually part of the same company. It's like the difference between Gap and Banana Republic. Hollister is supposed to be the more expensive line compared to A&F.

But frankly, you won't see me shop at either store. Abercrombie & Fitch (the parent company, also parent of kids' brand abercrombie.) is RACIST. Their ad campaigns seldom feature non-white models. And a few years back, a group of employees at their Irvine store filed a class action suit because the Asian employees (college students at UCI, not exactly a dumb lot) were routinely relegated to back store work like folding and stocking shelves, while white employees were allowed to work the cash register. And don't even get me started on the T-shirts featuring degrading images of Chinese people and the Buddha.

Mind you, I don't think the gov't needed to intervene to force A&F to conform to more politically correct business practices. In fact, if A&F wants to keep white folks at the front, they should have the right to do so. But as a consumer, I want to show my disapproval for those practices by NOT shopping there and by informing other consumers so they can choose to do likewise. It's called being socially concious.

I shop at American Eagle and American Apparel.

Hollister

There are designers in both teams. Hollister is used at
movie studios to set fads on the edge. Abrecombie + Fitch
is ancient histories of quality fabric options.

I like them both equally and buy both, but when it comes to quality I just seem to realize my A & F clothes last longer. Hollister is more popular in different areas of the nation, but I would rather have Abercrombie and Fitch either way.

They're like the same thing. Except Hollister is cheaper than Abercrombie. The only difference is that bird and that moose.

I like both. They both have pretty cute clothes. I don't have a absolute favorite clothing store or anything. People just have aloot of different types of fashion sense so hollister is peoples personal favorite when you like A and F. But everyone is different, we never know what people are thinking. I hope I helped.

Well, they are both cheap clothes that won't last and will fall apart. So, to get the best for your money, Hollister is cheaper and cuter!
